Welcome to a new week!
I hope you had a great week! It’s been an interesting one in my world! My husband and I have a lot of moving pieces going on as we are working on new projects. Meanwhile, the Universe has been doing what it does - presenting unexpected events just to keep it interesting. Never a dull moment!
As the week came to a close, I was asking myself - What do I need to do differently next week?

REFLECT
It’s so easy to plow through life without stopping to take notice of what’s working and what’s not working. But, when we don’t - it’s very easy to get off track quickly.
What do you want/need more of in your day/week/life?
What do you want less of?
One thing I love about gathering here with The LIFT every Sunday is holding space for us to pause and reflect on the week that just passed and the week ahead.
What would you do differently if you could do it again?
I’m not talking about erasing anything or turning back the clock. We often have that conversation - “If you had to do it again, what would you do differently?” And, most of the time, we respond that we wouldn’t change a thing because everything is a learning experience and even the bad experiences led us to where we are right now.
But that’s not the same question I’m asking.
I’m saying…
Knowing what you know now, what would you do differently going forward?
It’s a good question to reflect on at the end of anything - the end of a week, the end of the day, the end of a conversation, the end of a job, the end of a relationship.
Not how would you change the past, but what will you do differently in the future as a result of what you have learned?
Maybe you would trust your gut instinct a lot faster. Maybe you would spend less time around negative energy. Maybe you would not avoid the difficult conversations. Maybe you would prioritize your sleep hygiene. Maybe you would get up earlier.
The point is…
You learned something this week.
Something you can use next time to react a little better. Something you won’t ignore next time you feel it. Something that will help you stay on track longer.
Do you know what it was?
How will you use that information to make this week just a little better?
REAPPLY
There’s no such thing as a do-over. But, life does give us plenty of opportunity to reapply what we have learned. We just have to recognize what that is.
Based on last week’s lessons in my world, I have decided that this week, I will:
follow my gut more confidently
forgive myself for mistakes I made long ago
allow myself to have more fun
surround myself with positive, growth-oriented friends
be proud of who I am
Most importantly, I will stop holding myself back from allowing myself to have a fresh start and to enjoy taking all that I have learned to make the next week even better!
YOUR MISSION:
This week, I challenge you to take a moment to reflect on your week. What did you learn? How will you use that information to craft an even better week ahead?

IN SUMMARY:
As much as I love a fresh start, I know how hard it is. We get so comfortable with our routines. Or we allow ourselves to get so busy that we push aside our own instincts and interests. A fresh start doesn’t have to be something huge. It’s just about noticing and releasing what isn’t working and allowing ourselves to try something new based on all we have learned.
How will you do it differently?
See you next week?

It was one of those weeks. I learned a lot of lessons. But the biggest one is to follow my gut more confidently.
Great read and reminder, as always!
Than you, Karen! 😊
